Refund/Returns Policy
This website is for the purpose of trade customers only. We do not sell, nor wish to sell direct to the general public. For this purpose all pricing is exclusive of VAT which is charged at the prevailing rate. Free delivery service (above £50 net of VAT) is only operative in "Mainland UK" excluding all islands, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Channel islands and Scottish Highlands. Excluded postcodes as followed;
Highlands; AB31 to AB38, AB40 to AB56, IV1 to IV28, IV30 to IV32, IV36 to IV40, IV52 to IV54, IV63, KW1 to KW14, PA21 to PA38, PH4 to PH41, PH49 to PH50.
Islands; HS, IV41 to IV49, IV51, IV55 & IV56, KA27 & KA28, KW15 to KW17, PA20, PA41 to PA49, PA60 to PA78, PH42 to PH44, ZE, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and N.Ireland.
Most orders are delivered within 2-3 working days*. Usually orders are shipped out the day after ordering, with a NEXT DAY carrier service (e.g. order Mon, ship Tues, del by Wed or Thus). Please note that we cannot take any responsibility for a delivery delay in the carrier system and customers should contact us immediately if delivery has not been made by day 3 in the above example.
*UK mainland only excluding specified northern Scottish postcodes. Working days are M-F excluding public holidays.
Customers will usually receive a text message from the carrier advising an estimated date for delivery, provided your order contains an accurate mobile number.
For larger orders we may ship on a pallet and in this instance the carrier will phone to advise an estimated delivery day.
Trade returns are therefore only accepted against our prior approval and all requests should be made by email to info@candleking.co.uk. Please note that as a business to business (trade) supplier we do NOT offer any goods on a sale or return basis.
Returns are subject to the cost of outwards carriage and return carriage to be recovered from the customer at cost.
We warrant that the goods we supply are fit for the purpose they are intended and we will replace/credit any goods in the event that they do not match this criteria. Burning times, where applicable, are given as estimates only and are not guaranteed as they may vary depending on the conditions. The nature of candle manufacturing is such that wax colours and production materials can vary slightly between batches therefore we do not guarantee 100% consistency between one batch and another.
Any transit damages need to be reported to us within 3 days of delivery. You can report damages to info@candleking.co.uk. Please retain any damaged/items for inspection by our carrier or their agents.
Burning times (where applicable) are given as an approximation and are not guaranteed. They are based on a calm environment and correct use of product. Please remember to trim the wick before lighting/re-lighting as this enables the candle to start with a smaller flame which helps prevent dripping. Also remember that candles need to be absolutely straight, with wicks straightened before lighting. Certain factors can affect the burning time of a candle. Please also read and follow the directions on the packs before lighting. Colours shown on the website are from photographs and may vary slightly due to the limitations of printing.
By ordering from this site your statutory rights are as a wholesale trade customer and not as a member of the public.
All candle and related products should be used in accordance with the instructions shown on the case or inner pack if applicable. You should also read our candle safety page and ensure that your staff and colleagues are familiar with general candle safety.

We may, periodically, keep you updated with offers which might be of interest to you but these emails will always give you the option of unsubscribing, in which case the only emails you will receive will be to acknowledge your orders.
